Ivana M. Loos, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and moved to the U.S. with her family in 1998. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree at St. Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford, IL. Her career in medicine started at the age of 14 when she worked as a billing clerk for an urgent care in the local community. After graduating high school, she was given the opportunity to work as a nursing assistant while completing nursing school. It was during this time she had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and fell in love with medicine. Her passion for nursing grew even stronger during nursing school where she found her calling in the specialty of Mother/Baby.

 

After working in Illinois for two years, Ivana took on a new adventure and moved to Denver, CO. She spent 5 years of her career caring for mothers and babies as they began their journey into the world. After mastering her skills, she decided that she wanted to care for people in the community in another way and went on to pursue a Master of Science in nursing degree. She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Walden University in February of 2016.

Since graduation she has been working in primary care and enjoys working with patient of all ages.

 

In her free time Ivana enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies, and reading.
